The ISHLT will present three scientific abstract awards at the upcoming Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions in Boston. Finalists for the Early Career and Trainee Clinical Case Dilemmas Best Presentation Award, Philip K. Caves Award, and Early Career Scientist Award are now announced.

Following a five-year hiatus, the world’s only registry of patients with durable mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices is re-launching and will begin collecting data from institutions around the globe in early 2025. The International Registry for Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support (IMACS) registry is operated by the International Society for Health and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), a global multidisciplinary professional organization dedicated to improving the care of patients with advanced heart and lung disease.

The ISHLT has endorsed the Karolinska Cardiogenic Shock Days Conference taking place 4-5 June in Stockholm, Sweden. The conference will bring international leading experts together to discuss the challenges and latest advancements in cardiogenic shock.

The ISHLT has endorsed the 2025 Technology and Heart Failure Therapeutics Conference taking place 11-13 February at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport in Boston, MA USA. THT 2025 will present the latest heart failure innovations, focusing on device- and technology-based treatments within the context of drug therapies.
