The ISHLT History & Archives project collects conversations with ISHLT leaders, past presidents, and other leaders in the advanced heart and lung failure community. Watch new short-form videos featuring prominent ISHLT members discussing ISHLT’s history and the Society’s past and future.

The Fellow of the ISHLT (ISHLTF) Program is an honorary post-nominal designation recognizing dedicated ISHLT members and their contributions to the field, as well as their commitment and service to the Society. Applications for ISHLTF will open on 17 November and close on 15 December.

Applications are now open for four ISHLT research grants covering a wide range of topics in advanced heart and lung failure.

Nominations are now being accepted for an ISHLT award to recognize and reward the mentors among its membership. Nominations for the ISHLT Francis D. Pagani, MD Endowed Mentorship Award will be accepted until 20 January, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET / 21 January, 2026 at 03:59 UTC.

The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation (JHLT), an official publication of the ISHLT, will release a special issue in March 2026 dedicated to manuscripts exploring device therapies in advanced heart and lung disease. Submissions for this issue are now being accepted until Tuesday, 30 December, 2025.

Registration rates and policies for ISHLT2026, ISHLT Academies, and Preconference Day events are now available. As always, rates differ depending on your membership status and country of practice. Registration will open in mid-December 2025.
