ISHLT Welcomes Rachel Taylor as Publications Manager
ISHLT is pleased to welcome Rachel Taylor as Publications Manager. In this new role, Rachel will strengthen ISHLT’s publications processes and help connect the work published in JHLT and JHLT Open with the Society’s broader programs.
Rachel joins ISHLT with over a decade of experience in scholarly publishing. She has worked with publications and academic journals from the National Academy of Sciences and the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics. Most recently, Rachel served as an Editorial System Consultant for the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
With a genuine appreciation for the role professional societies play in creating strong communities of trust and advancing scientific research, Rachel currently serves on the board of directors for the Council of Science Editors (CSE). She also volunteers on multiple committees within CSE and the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP).
