Badge Pick Up & Registration
PICK UP YOUR BADGE TO GET STARTED
When you get on site, your first order of business should be to pick up your badge. You’ll need this to access educational sessions, the exhibit hall, and any ISHLT2026 event.
To get your badge, enter the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building and follow the signs to proceed to the Registration Desk located on the 600 Level.
REGISTRATION HOURS TODAY:
6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
On 19 April, you should have received an email from ISHLT Annual Meeting <ishlt@mcievents.com> with the subject line “ISHLT2026 Badge QR Code and Receipt” regarding your unique badge QR code. To get your badge, scan the QR code below at any kiosk in the registration area.
If you did not receive this email, check your spam/junk folder, or search your name at the registration kiosks to print your badge.

GET AROUND THE CONVENTION CENTRE
ISHLT2026 will primarily take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building located at 222 Bremner Blvd, Toronto, ON M5V 2T6, Canada.
ISHLT2026 events will take place on Levels 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 of the convention centre. Get your bearings for the space by reviewing the Maps and Floor Plans at the link below or through the ISHLT2026 Mobile App.

Mobile App Information
THE MEETING IN THE PALM OF YOUR HANDS
Have the meeting in the palm of your hand by downloading the mobile app for ISHLT2026.
At the links below, you can explore the mobile app to view the full schedule of sessions and events in Toronto and update your profile.
Downloading the App and Logging in for the First Time:
- Click the relevant link below or access your device's app store and search for "Floq by Conference Compass"
- When installing, the app may ask if you want to allow notifications. We recommend keeping this on so you can get reminders about sessions you’ve saved.
- Open the app. The ISHLT2026 logo should appear at the top of the homepage screen. Tap the ISHLT2026 logo artwork to proceed.
- Tap the “Install” button to download app content.
- The app will prompt you to enter a password. Enter “abbott” (Note: this is case sensitive) and tap OK.
- The app will prompt you to sign in. Tap “Sign in with email” and you can create a Floq account by inputting a few details about yourself.
- You will receive an email from noreply@email.floq.live with instructions to verify your email address. Follow these steps to verify your email address. Remember to check your spam folder in case the email lands there.
- After you return to the app, you can confirm your information. You’ll also be asked a few questions about your privacy and visibility in the app.
The app includes educational and networking events. Log in now to start building your schedule. You can create your own appointments in the app by tapping “My Schedule” and then tapping the blue calendar icon to enter the appointment details.

SYMPOSIA SESSION TRANSLATION
Symposia session summaries and translations into 10 languages will be available on the mobile app. The symposia sessions will be recorded in real time and the app captures high level themes and summaries of each session, then translates them into multiple languages.
You can find it in the mobile app by tapping “Symposia Takeaways & Translation” on the app dashboard.

OPENING GENERAL SESSION

The Opening General Session will feature reports from ISHLT President, Josef Stehlik, MD, MPH and ISHLT2026 Program Chair Caroline Patterson, BMBS, MD. Daniel Goldstein, MD, Chair of the ISHLT Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support (IMACS) Registry Steering Committee, will provide an update and share new data, followed by a Featured Abstract presentation. Keynote addresses from Jagbir Gill, MD, MPH, FRCPC of the University of British Columbia and Toby and Bernadine Boulet of the Canadian Transplant Association will share stories of transplant access and organ donation awareness.






SPECIAL SESSION 01 (Non-CME) ISHLT/Enduring Hearts Pediatric Heart Transplantation Innovation Challenge Grant Selection Session

This session will showcase presentations from the five finalists for the ISHLT/Enduring Hearts Pediatric Heart Transplantation Innovation Challenge Grant, which will be scored by on site judges. The winner will be announced during the Awards Presentations in the General Session on Saturday, 25 April.
SYMPOSIUM 10: Artificial Intelligence Across the Field of Cardiothoracic Transplantation
1:15 – 2:30 p.m. | Room 714-716
In this unique session, expert mentors will empower early-career professionals to deliver the latest evidence and examples of AI adoption in clinical practice. Now is the time to gain understanding of this rapidly advancing technology, to recognize how it can be harnessed for patient, clinician and service benefit.
ORAL SESSION 04: Early Career and Trainees Clinical Case Dilemmas: The Best of the Best Award Session
3:00 – 4:15 p.m. | Room 714-716
This award session recognizes excellence by early career and trainees from top abstracts submitted in the Early Career Clinical Case Reports category. Ten early career finalists have been selected to present their work in this session. At the conclusion of the session, the best case presentation will be selected by a panel of judges and the winner will be announced during the Awards Presentations in the General Session III on Saturday, 25 April.

Visit the Poster Hall on 800 Level of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to browse posters in Poster Session 1. Poster presenters will be there to discuss their posters beginning at 6:00 p.m. Featured Poster Sessions 1 will also begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Poster Hall Theaters located within the Poster Hall. These rapid-fire presentations give presenters the unique opportunity to deliver a brief oral presentation of their abstract, rather than a traditional poster format.

Check that all emails you receive are coming from an @ishlt.org email address, and do not respond to any suspicious senders.
