  NOTICE: Road Closure due to Parade

Boylston Street will be closed this morning through the afternoon due to the Greek Independence Day Parade. Attendees taking transportation to ISHLT2025 should be dropped off at the Sheraton Boston Hotel (39 Dalton St) and enter the convention center through the mall entrance.

When you get on site, your first order of business should be to pick up your badge. You’ll need this to access educational sessions, the exhibit hall, and any ISHLT2025 events you may be registered for.

To get your badge, enter the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center and follow the signs to proceed to the Registration Desk located in the Prefunction Hallway outside Hall C on Level 2. At the convention center, you will need to go through security and magnetometers. Please avoid bringing larger bags.

6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

On 25 April, you should have received an email from ISHLT 45th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions <no-reply@m.crowdcomms.com> with the subject line “ISHLT2025 Attendee Badge Pick Up: Your QR Code” regarding your unique badge QR code. To get your badge, scan the QR code below at any kiosk in the registration area.

If you did not receive this email, check your spam/junk folder, or search your name at the registration kiosks to print your badge.

The Opening General Session will feature reports from ISHLT2025 Program Chair Kiran Khush, MD, MAS, and ISHLT President, Christian Benden, MD, MBA, FCCP. Rebecca Cogswell, MD, Chair of the ISHLT TTX Registry Steering Committee, will provide an update and share new data, followed by a Featured Abstract presentation. A keynote address from Devi Shetty, MS, FRCS of Narayana Health in Bangalore, India will share innovative solutions to providing affordable therapies for heart and lung disease.

This session follows an early career professional through a series of real life, practical challenges presented in an interactive case-based format, aiming to stimulate discussion and debate in the symposium hall and afterwards.


ORAL SESSION 14: Early Career and Trainees Clinical Case Dilemmas: The Best of the Best Award Session
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. | Room 312

Photo of a woman presenting at a podium and smiling This award session recognizes excellence by early career and trainees from top abstracts submitted in the Early Career Clinical Case Reports category. Ten early career finalists have been selected to present their work in this session. At the conclusion of the session, the best case presentation will be selected by a panel of judges and the winner will be announced during the Awards Presentations in the General Session III on Wednesday, 30 April.

Featured Poster Session 1 | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. | Hall C, Level 2

Visit the Poster Hall on Level 2 of the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center to browse posters in Poster Session 1. Poster presenters will be there to discuss their posters beginning at 6:00 p.m. Featured Poster Session 1 will also begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Poster Hall Theater located within the Poster Hall. These new rapid-fire presentations give presenters the unique opportunity to deliver a brief oral presentation of their abstract, rather than a traditional poster format.

View the poster hall times and topics throughout the week in the mobile app by tapping “Poster Hall”. Select the day you’d like to see posters for, and a list of poster topics will appear. Tap into a topic to see a detailed list of every presenter and poster in that category. Tap on the poster title to read the description and to add the poster to your schedule.
