SYMPOSIUM 30: Joint ISHLT-CSWG Symposium: Where We Are and Where We Need to Go
8:15 – 9:30 a.m. | Ballroom C, Level 3

This joint symposium will cover the ongoing work in the field of cardiogenic shock by the Cardiogenic Shock Working Group (CSWG) with a focus on international collaborations to cater to ISHLT.

SPECIAL SESSION 03 (Non-CME): ECP Immunomodulation in Thoracic Transplantation Challenge Grant Selection Session
11:45 a.m. – 12: 45 a.m. | Veterans Memorial Auditorium, Level 2

This session will showcase the five finalists for the ISHLT Extracorporeal Photopheresis Immunomodulation in Thoracic Transplantation Challenge grant. This research grant is aimed at advancing the use of Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) immunomodulation to improve patient survival and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and improve or stabilize organ function in thoracic transplant patients. The winner of the grant will be announced during General Session III on 30 April.

SYMPOSIUM 39: Joint ISHLT-IPTA Symposium: Sometimes Just a Thoracic Organ is Not Enough - Multiorgan Transplantation

This joint symposium will review the current international landscape of combined thoracic (heart or lung) and abdominal (liver or kidney) transplantation in children including unique considerations in pediatrics, indications, challenges, and outcomes.

Visit the Poster Hall on Level 2 of the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center to browse posters in Poster Session 3. Poster presenters will be there to discuss their posters beginning at 4:30 p.m. Featured Poster Session 3 will also begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Poster Hall Theater located within the Poster Hall. These new rapid-fire presentations give presenters the unique opportunity to deliver a brief oral presentation of their abstract, rather than a traditional poster format.

View the poster hall times and topics throughout the week in the mobile app by tapping “Poster Hall”. Select the day you’d like to see posters for, and a list of poster topics will appear. Tap into a topic to see a detailed list of every presenter and poster in that category. Tap on the poster title to read the description and to add the poster to your schedule.
