To get your badge, scan the QR code below at any kiosk in the registration area.

SYMPOSIUM 14: JHLT at ISHLT: The Best of 2024

This session will highlight several of the most impactful papers published in JHLT in the past year as voted by the editorial board.
GENERAL SESSION II
9:45 – 11: 15 a.m. | Veterans Memorial Auditorium, Level 2
General Session II will feature diverse perspectives on advancing care for heart and lung failure, as well as enhancing organ donation efforts. Daniel Goldstein, MD, Chair of the ISHLT Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support (IMACS) Registry will provide an update, followed by a Featured Abstract presentation. Scot Pollard will discuss perspectives on the urgent need for organ donation expansion. João Coutinho will share insights to how creative advocacy can play a role in increasing donor registration.

2025 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD HONORARY PRESENTATION
Part of General Session II
ISHLT
will honor the life and legacy of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Allan Glanville, MBBS, MD, FRACP, during General Session II. Friends, colleagues, and family members will honor Professor Glanville and celebrate
his contributions. Notable ISHLT members will speak including ISHLT President, Christian Benden, MD; Vincent Valentine, MD; Paul Jansz, BMed, PhD, FRACS; Tereza Martinu, MD;
and Peter Hopkins, FRACP.
The ISHLT Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Society on individuals who have made a significant contribution toward improving the care of patients with advanced heart or lung disease or engaged in pioneering work that improved the care of patients with advanced heart or lung disease.

in 1982, the Philip K. Caves Award encourages and rewards original high-quality research performed by residents, fellows, trainees, and
graduate students.
Six finalists have been selected to present their high-scoring
research in this session. At the conclusion of the session, the best research presentation will be selected by a panel of judges and the winner will be announced during the Awards Presentations in the General Session on Wednesday, 30 April.

Poster presenters will be there to discuss their posters beginning at 4:30 p.m. Featured Poster Session 2 will also begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Poster Hall Theater located within the Poster Hall. These new rapid-fire presentations give presenters the unique opportunity to deliver a brief oral presentation of their abstract, rather than a traditional poster format.
