Heart Transplantation 2035: Who, What and Where Will the Next Heart Come From?
9 December, 2026 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
Heart transplantation is entering a period of rapid change. Advances in donor selection, organ preservation, mechanical circulatory support, xenotransplantation and patient selection are challenging some of the assumptions that have traditionally defined transplantation.
Rather than revisiting established approaches to rejection surveillance or immunosuppression, this webinar will explore how the heart transplant landscape may look over the next decade.
The session will bring together three complementary perspectives around a single question: How will we decide who gets transplanted, which organs we accept, and whether the human donor heart remains the ultimate limiting resource?
