Saving the Gift: Critical Challenges after Heart Transplant

Presented jointly by the ISHLT Cardiology Professional Community and the American Society of Transplantation (AST), this webinar will explore critical challenges in post-heart transplant care, from early primary graft dysfunction (PGD) to acute and chronic rejection. Participants will learn to recognize, diagnose, and manage PGD, monitor and treat acute cellular and antibody-mediated rejection. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based strategies, advanced diagnostics, and emerging therapies to optimize graft survival and patient outcomes.
