- Approximately 16 miles from all conference hotels
- Toronto Pearson International Airport is accessible via taxi (approximately $40 CAD each way).
- Train to City: Union Pearson Express (UP Express) runs from Pearson Airport to Union Station in downtown Toronto in just 25 minutes. Union Station in downtown Toronto is located 2 blocks from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC).

- Billy Bishop Toronto Airport is accessible to the mainland Ferry or Pedestrian Tunnel.
- Once arrived on the mainland there are many options, including shuttle service, to transfer to your hotel or The Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Attire for the ISHLT Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions is business casual. The average daytime high temperature in Toronto in April is 56°F (9°C); the average low temperature is 41°F (5°C). Because meeting room temperatures sometimes fluctuate, we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.

Visa & Travel Requirements
Most international attendees will require either a Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada.
- Check your requirements on the Travel and identification documents for entering Canada page.
- To apply for a Visa or eTA visit the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) page.
- Visa applications must be submitted 3 months prior to your travel date.
- A Special Event Code from IRCC is required to complete your Visa application
- This code will be available starting December 2025 when ISHLT registration opens.
- It will only be provided to those with a fully paid, confirmed registration for the ISHLT2026 meeting.
