NOW OPEN: ISHLT2027 Call for Abstracts
Abstract submissions are now open for the ISHLT’s 47th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions in Sydney, NSW Australia on 14-17 April, 2027. ISHLT2027 will feature educational content spanning the breadth of clinical practice and research concerning heart and lung transplantation, advanced heart and lung disease, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease.
“As ISHLT gathers in the Southern Hemisphere for the first time,” said Melissa Cousino, PhD, ISHLT2027 Scientific Program Chair, “ISHLT2027 will be a landmark opportunity to expand our global reach, highlight exceptional science from the Asia-Pacific region and around the world, and welcome many colleagues to the ISHLT Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions for the very first time.”
ISHLT especially encourages junior faculty, trainees, first-time submitters, and individuals from all regions to submit their scientific abstracts. With your scientific contributions and global perspectives, ISHLT2027 will inspire, connect, and showcase the very best of this international community.
Abstract presenters will also be able to apply for ISHLT Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions Travel Awards that can assist with travel and registration costs. Applications for these awards will open in December 2026.
The abstract submission period will be open until 29 September at 11:59 p.m. ET / 30 September at 03:59 UTC. Don’t delay—if your science is ready to submit, act now.
