ISHLT Welcomes Beth Reed as ISHLT Education Manager
ISHLT is pleased to welcome Beth Reed as Education Manager. In this role, Beth will enhance the Society’s capacity to deliver and expand the high-quality educational programming central to ISHLT’s global mission.
Beth brings more than 20 years of experience in managing education and meeting-related activities. She most recently served as Senior Manager of Meeting Education at the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), where she helped plan and execute scientific and clinical education programming for their annual meeting and other programs. Her experience also includes coordinating regional meetings, simulation and hands-on training, webinars, volunteer and faculty support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Beth is known for her ability to streamline complex processes, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and build strong, collaborative relationships. She holds a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University.
Beth also brings a meaningful personal connection to ISHLT’s mission: her father received a lung transplant at Ohio State in July 2025 (and is doing well).
