NOW OPEN: ISHLT2026 Call for Abstracts
The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) has opened abstract submissions for its 46th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions in Toronto, ON Canada on 22-25 April, 2026. ISHLT2026 will feature educational content spanning the breadth of clinical practice and research concerning heart and lung transplantation, advanced heart and lung disease, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease.

all ISHLT members and nonmembers to submit their research for presentation at
our plenary, oral, mini-oral, and poster sessions," said Caroline Patterson, BMBS, BMedSci, MD, ISHLT2026 Scientific Program Chair. "We most warmly encourage
junior faculty and trainees, and individuals from developing countries, to
submit their work and to attend the annual meeting. With your expert scientific
input, Toronto 2026 will be Next Level!”
ISHLT Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions Travel Awards that can assist with travel and registration costs will be available for abstract presenters. Applications for these awards will open in January 2026.
The abstract submission period will be open until Tuesday, 14 October at 11:59 p.m. ET/Wednesday, 15 October at 03:59 UTC. Don’t delay—if your science is ready to submit, act now.
