ISHLT Strategic Investment Fund: Opening in January 2025
The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) has announced the launch of a “Strategic Investment Fund,” a unique opportunity for members to propose transformational programs that will significantly advance the field and add substantial value to our society. The programs will be funded and carried out by ISHLT. Examples include programs that align with ISHLT's strategic priorities, such as enhancing global connections and ISHLT presence, improving access to transplant and advanced therapies, fostering innovation in treatment paradigms, and expanding our capabilities in data gathering and utilization.
The fund is part of ISHLT’s commitment to investing in our future by allocating resources from capital reserves to drive transformative change with projects that promise high impact and align with the ISHLT mission. Proposals will be evaluated based on their strategic alignment, potential impact, feasibility, cost, and time to benefit.
