are now being accepted for the first award offered by ISHLT to recognize and reward the mentors among its membership. The recipient of this award will be announced at the 44thAnnual Meeting & Scientific Sessions in Prague in April 2024,
and applications will be accepted until 17 January, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET / 18 January, 2024 at 03:59 UTC.

Award Amount: $5,000 USD
Mentorship
is one of the essential values of the ISHLT and its professional community. Named after its inaugural recipient, the Francis D. Pagani, MD Endowed Mentorship Award and funded through the ISHLT Foundation, up to one award will
be given annually to an ISHLT member who displays selfless mentorship of clinicians, educators, or researchers dedicated to the treatment of advanced heart and lung disease.
Take this opportunity to nominate a mentor who has had an impact on your career. The nominee must be a member of ISHLT but any past or current mentee may submit the nomination.
