2023 Francis D. Pagani, MD Endowed Mentorship Award

On Saturday, 22 April, 2023 at the closing General Session at the ISHLT 43rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, the ISHLT Foundation announced the creation of the Francis D. Pagani, MD Endowed Mentorship Award, and presented the first award.
This $5,000 USD award will be provided by the ISHLT Foundation in honor of a member of the ISHLT that displays selfless mentorship of clinicians dedicated to the treatment of advanced heart and lung disease. Award funding supports education, research, and training activities at the discretion of the mentor.
The ISHLT and the ISHLT Foundation extends congratulations to Frank Pagani, MD for becoming the inaugural recipient of this new award.
