The focus of this session is to provide an in-depth assessment of CF specific considerations in lung transplant. Recently published referral guidelines will be reviewed with a focus on issues such as adherence and psychosocial factors. Identification of at-risk patients and strategies to enhance waitlist survival will be undertaken. CF specific pre transplant issues and how they influence candidacy will be reviewed including liver disease, non adherence, vascular anatomy and other GIT manifestations.
