Beyond Pressure and Flow: Haemodynamic Assessment of Failing Ventricles

Wednesday, 27 September, 2023  |  1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EDT

Measurements from right heart catheterization such as cardiac output and ventricular filling pressures have traditionally been used to tailor therapies in heart failure and cardiogenic shock. But it has been well demonstrated that these variables do not robustly predict in-hospital or long term patients outcomes. This webinar will review the clinical applicability of more precise hemodynamic variables in the setting of LV and RV failure.
