On behalf of Andreas Zuckermann, MD, President of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the ISHLT Board of Directors, and the ISHLT2023 Scientific Program Committee, I invite you to submit your research to be shared with peers at the Society’s 43
rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions to be held 19 - 22 April, 2023 in Denver, Colorado USA.
The ISHLT welcomes submissions from all specialists engaged in treating advanced heart and lung disease, particularly those working on
novel therapies. ISHLT2023 will feature
some of the most ground-breaking investigative studies, to enhance our knowledge and improve the care of our patients.

Submission Areas
There are
THREE areas in which to submit an abstract:

Each abstract may be submitted in only
ONE of these areas.
Submission of the same abstract into different areas is not permitted. Submission of one study as several different abstracts is not permitted. If the abstracts in question are not distinct enough to be considered separate studies,
or if the same abstract is submitted into multiple categories, all versions may be rejected.

Publication
All accepted abstracts will be published
exactly as submitted in the April 2023 Abstract Supplement of
The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Notification
Presenting authors of submitted abstracts will receive a status notification of acceptance or rejection
in December 2022. It is the responsibility of the
Presenting Author to notify all co-authors regarding status of acceptance or rejection.
On
30 December, presenting authors of all accepted abstracts will receive a presentation invitation including presentation date, session assignment, and presentation format.
