Our Travel Scholarships are designed to provide individuals with the valuable opportunity to visit another centre around the world to enhance their personal development and learn from a centre of clinical or research excellence to either directly or indirectly benefit patient care.

A competitive application will describe a visit that provides access to knowledge and experience that would not normally be available to the applicant in their own centre. Applications which describe added value from the visit such as an associated audit or small research project that helps build collaborative links between centres will be recognised in the scoring. Up to six awards of $6000 are made in each application round and there are two rounds each year, so don't delay -start thinking now about how securing an ISHLT Travel Scholarship can further your career and benefit your research or your patients.

The next round of applications will be due December 1, 2014. To apply, please visit:
